Never have more money deposited in ANY Sportsbook than you can afford to have stolen from you today. If you will suffer financially with this money being stolen, then get it out NOW.

Good luck all

Hey General,

Are they all that shady? I've spent a lot of time reading your ratings, and hoped that the best really are trustworthy. I know the concept of spreading accounts around, but I thought that was simply to find the best lines.
Is it for insurance against a book going belly-up, too?

Yes, never have all of your assets in one book. There are NO guarantees with any book.

while I agree with General on not having more money then you can afford to lose...I think books that have been there for a LONG time 3-5 yrs or more you do not have to worry as much if you have a little more . those being Pinnacle, Olympic wwts..the rocks of the industry...

Just my opinion...

I will NEVER try a new book again

thank you sir. I'm thinking of diversifying among Canbet, Sportsbook.com, Pinnacle, Island and WSEX. If you, General, or anyone suggests anything different, please let me know.

Another better burned by BML in Costa Rica here. This is my first time on this site. Is there any recourse, or way to try to get funds they have and unable to retrieve for months?

I went another bulletin board and see there are lots of problems with this one, going back more than a year.

I could log on up until Feb.2 right after Super Bowl. 800 number is never on accessible, but the site's still up. What's the deal?

I've dealt with them for years, always have been paid in a reasonable time.

I did have a dispute with them on a series NHL bet a few years ago, forgot the teams, but it was a large dog (like +300, or better ) in an early play-off round. The bet won, and they didn't want to pay until the entire play-offs were over, that's BS. I got it resolved in about a week.

I've heard many complaints about them, esp. from European players. They shouldn't be one of your first books, and balance should be kept small. They often have the best lines when betting against popular teams like Lakers, Yankees, etc. Their limits on totals are $220. Customer service is poor. I don't bet much there often, but I have an instinct when they will have the best line.

Their website is often down. They are best used to bet dogs close to gametime.

Sports Interaction

Disadvantages:
They have absolutely got some of the worst lines available online.

Advantages:
Going against the betting public on a dog can offer some incredible lines.

They have a N. American address. If everything goes bad you can drive to them!

I have an account there, but only for taking huge dogs, you would be amazed at the lines you can find, if you are carefull and shop around.

I also really www.mysportsbook.com - I wouldn't trust thier casino, but the sportsbook has been solid. I have wagered there for about two years.

Requested 900 from account; they're claiming
wire service lost it! Advice?
Isn't that their problem, not mine?

Well.... I am not sure who is responsible for that one.

You need to contact them right away and attempt to find out who was used for the wire transfer.

To say that the transfer service lost the money, is without question a lie!

If they submitted the money to the transfer service, they WILL definately have a record of it.

Then.... Come back here and let me know what the transfer service says. I run a new site that is dedicating a good deal of our time and resources to report issues like this one to the public.

Please keep me informed.

Intertops has been around for a while-since 1982. I like Olympic for football, they have better lines, you can buy points. I had Intertops for 5 years and Olympic for 3. I've had few problems with either.
Anybody with either sportsbook?

Don't leave out BetCBSports, they pay. Yes, maybe a small problem sometimes with Netteller, but they do pay. Western Union is the best. Call before 11EST and you should always get paid that day. Customer service girls are to be desired, rude in my estimation, then just be rude back to them. They get the message.
